Landmark Legal Foundation has filed an amicus curiae (friend of the court) brief in the Obama Justice Department's lawsuit against the state of Alabama over that state's recently enacted anti-illegal immigration statute. The judge in the Eleventh Circuit federal district court granted a preliminary injunction enjoining the enforcement of the new law while the suit is pending. The state has appealed the preliminary injunction and Landmark has filed in support of the state's appeal.
